Adelboden lies at the heart of the Bernese Oberland at an altitude of 1,350 metres, in the midst of a unique 360-degree panorama. We are only 20 minutes from Lake Thun by car. There is a bus service to Adelboden starting from Frutigen station. In the village itself, the use of the car is unnecessary because of the public transport system. Parking and garage at the hotel.

Area information

In winter or summer, the cable cars between Adelboden and Lenk make the region one of the largest and most attractive holiday areas in Switzerland. Adelboden's "mountain of views", the Tschentenalp, is only 7 minutes from the village centre by cabin lift and offers family-friendly skiing, sledging and hiking.

By train: - There are daily connections by Eurocity, Intercity and Euronight trains from Swiss and European cities directly to Frutigen. - From here there it is a 30-minute direct transfer available by bus to Adelboden.

Adelboden is located on a sun terrace at 1,400 metres above sea level, in the western part of the Bernese Oberland. Thanks to its southeastern exposure, you can enjoy up to 9 hours of sunshine per day in winter. Adelboden is a well-known climatic health resort.

The Viktoria Eden is a comfortable 3-star hotel with restaurant and spa area in the centre of Adelboden in the Bernese Oberland. The hotel features the Restaurant Viktoria, the Asian restaurant "Thai Mandarin" and the spa oasis “Bergquelle” with sauna, bio sauna, steam bath, foot bath, massages and various application baths. The small, cosy Hotel Des Alpes offers a very quiet location 2 km away from the village centre of Adelboden, right in the centre of the hiking and skiing area. Free Wi-Fi is provided in the entire property. Built in 1905, the house was renovated in spring 2008. In summer you can sit in the beautiful garden and enjoy home-made ice cream.
