Hotel information

Our hotel is integrated in the building of the Reha hospital Bad Sulza and boasts direct access to the Tuscany thermae and the sauna area. You can buy entrance tickets on reception. All standard conference and audio-visual equipment can be used at no extra cost. Further seminar, therapy and gymnastic rooms are available for larger groups on request. The thermal pools in houses 2 and 3 are open daily from 18:00 until 21:30. The sauna, steam room and fitness area are open daily from 16:00 and at weekends from 10:00. Guests can use these facilities free of charge. There is also a massage and bath department on site as well as various medical treatments and therapies. There is a 24-hour care service with nurses in case of an emergency. From February until October Kinderland child care is open from Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 17:30. On Saturday a programme is offered including parents from 09:00 until 12:00.

Room information

The hotel offers 155 single, double and twin en suite rooms. All rooms are non-smoking, suitable for allergy sufferers and have a wonderful view of the thermae or Bad Sulza and the surroundings. Rooms with facilities for the disabled are available on request.

When it comes to cuisine, we ensure that delicious vegetables and dairy produce take priority. We offer excellent Thuringian cuisine as well as mouth-watering vegetarian and Ayurvedic dishes, which are sure to inspire you to maintain healthy nutrition habits at home. We attach great importance to organic produce, and favour regional suppliers. Area information

More than 60 km of hiking paths surround our hotel. Natural paths through shaded forests and idyllic meadows tempt hikers and cyclists alike. In addition, we are located with equal distance between the 3 cities of Weimar, Jena and Naumburg. The classical city of Weimar is overflowing with culture, whether you choose to visit the museums of Schiller or Goethe, the Herderkirche or the Library of Duchess Amalia, its all here. Jena combines past and future - history and modernity - with its planetarium, monuments and a botanical garden. Come and take a look. Right at Saale’s light beach you will find the city of Naumburg. This city tempts tourists from all over the world with its historical art and culture, the internationally known cathedral and the city church.

Travel information

You can reach us by car Motorway A 9 : Exit Naumburg When you leave the motorway drive in the direction of Naumburg. When you reach Naumburg take directions to Bad Kösen / Weimar. You will reach Bad Kösen. Turn left after crossing the bridge over the Saale in the direction of Bad Sulza and follow the signs for the Toskana Therme. The Hotel is located adjacent the car park. At present this route is hampered by long-term road-works and diversions (until end of 2004). Choose one of the other routes if you can. Motorway A 4 : Exit Apolda Take the exit Apolda / Mellingen / Bad Sulza from the A4 motorway in the direction of Apolda / Bad Kösen. Continue along the B87 for about 8 km. Shortly before you reach Eckartsberga there is turning in the direction of Bad Sulza. Drive through Bad Sulza in the direction of the Toskana Therme. The Hotel an der Therme is located next door to the Toskana Therme adjacent the car park. Motorway A9 : Exit Bad Klosterlausnitz travelling northwards from the Hermsdorfer Kreuz Take the first exit after the Hermsdorfer Kreuz for Bad Klosterlausnitz. Take the lane for Jena but follow signs for Camburg as soon as they appear a few metres further on. When you reach Camburg follow directions for Apolda. Follow the road for about 8km then take the turning for Bad Sulza. When you reach Bad Sulza follow the signs for the Toskana Therme. The Hotel an der Therme is located next door to the Toskana Therme and adjacent to the car park. Motorway A 9 : Exit Eisenberg From the motorway A9 take the exit for Eisenberg and drive in the direction of Jena. As soon as the sign appears follow directions for Camburg. In Camburg follow directions for Apolda and continue along the road for about 8km before taking the turning for Bad Sulza. When you reach Bad Sulza follow the signs for the Toskana Therme. The Hotel an der Therme is located next door to the Toskana Therme and adjacent to the car park.

By car: The hotel is located 20 km from the Naumburg exit of the A9 (E51) motorway. It can be accessed via the A4 (E40), travelling through Jena or Apolda. The B87 runs 6 km from Bad Sulza. By rail: Bad Sulza station lies approx. 1 km from the hotel. By plane: The hotel lies an hour's drive from the airports of Leipzig and Erfurt.
