The resort can book tee-off times at an 18-hole golf course, 12 km from the Dorint. A bus stop is right next to the Dorint Blüemlisalp Beatenberg and provides hourly connections to Interlaken, 12 km away.

Important information

Please note that the garage parking fee is only applicable from mid-December to the end of February. It is free during the rest of the year. Guests travelling by car and using a GPS are advised to programme the trip via Interlaken. The shorter route via Sigriswil includes a road which is closed in winter and is also not recommended in summer.

The Hotel Gloria offers spacious, modern Chalet-style rooms, lovingly refurbished and tastefully decorated including flat-screen televisions. Every room has a private balcony offering panoramic views of Lake Thun below and the Alps, including the Famous Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau mountains.

Food & beverage

The restaurant is closed on Thursdays. Half board includes breakfast and an especially prepared daily menu consisting of 3 courses.

Area information

Beatenberg boasts 160 km of summer walking paths and 60 km of groomed winter walking trails starting right at our doorstep. Winter sports enthusiasts find a family-friendly ski paradise at Beatenberg, with well-groomed pistes, cross-country ski runs, ski touring programmes, ski schools and a natural ice rink. The bus stop for Interlaken is 100 metres from our door, providing a regular service to Interlaken.

Important Information for the winter season!! Do not drive via Thun / Sigriswil, but via Interlaken, as this is the safer route!

Please note that family rooms are suitable for 2 adults and 2 children only. The public bus from Interlaken to Beatenberg runs once an hour and on weekdays the last bus in the evening runs at 22:00.

Numerous all-year hiking paths through the untouched Alpine surroundings, many starting points for paragliders, ski slopes and toboggan tracks can be found around the Berghaus Niederhorn. The Niederhorn is only reachable by cable car from Beatenbucht (bottom station) or Beatenberg (middle station) cable car stations. Parking facilities are provided at Beatenbucht as well as at Beatenberg.
